Hermann Hauser started his investment activities in Austria 2 years ago. After the first I.E.C.T. Summer School on Entrepreneurship in 2015, it became clear to him, that there is great potential in the Austrian start-up scene.
“The ideas we see here are as good as those in Cambridge and Silicon Valley” he once said and so it is hardly surprising that he has started to invest in Austrian start-ups. Until now, the Hermann Hauser Investment GmbH has funded 16 companies mainly from Austria and Hauser became Austrian Business Angel of the Year 2016 as well. Hermann Hauser and the I.E.C.T. offer entrepreneurs an integrated infrastructure and support in cooperation with a regionally, nationally and internationally linked network of partners, especially at Cambridge University and the Hauser Forum, by establishing partnerships and formats like the I.E.C.T. Summer School and I.E.C.T. Challenge.
An important part of the I.E.C.T. organisation are the I.E.C.T. Capital Partners, led as a club referring to the model of the Cambridge Business Angels. It is crucial for start-up-ventures, to attain money fast and uncomplicated. The I.E.C.T. Capital Partners, headed by the Hermann Hauser Investment GmbH, make this available.
